Yoko Taura
田浦陽子
Yoko Taura was born in Yamaguchi (Japan) in 1961. She is a designer and illustrator and passionate about "kawaii" drawings (cute and funny in Japanese). She moved to Milan in 1986 and graduated to the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, Milan in 1991. Between 1989 and 1991 she joined a group exhibitions in the galleries of Bologna, Parma and Milan.
She designed "Coccolone"(stuffed animals frame) in 2011 for a Japanese company called Sun Arrow Co. Ltd.
She returned to Japan in 2012 and currently lives and works in Kanagawa.
